Privacy policy

Still In Play is run from Sioux Falls, SD. This page says what we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us delete it. It describes what the site actually does — if you find a gap between this page and our behaviour, that's a bug and we want to hear about it.
What we collect
Your email address
Given when you unlock a free hole, buy something, or leave a review. We record the address, the time you agreed to marketing email, and which of our emails have been sent to you. We never sell or rent it, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
Your golf numbers
Your club distances, handicap and any corrections you write on a book. These are stored so your books can be rebuilt. A generated book freezes a copy of your numbers at the moment it was built, so an old book stays reproducible after you change your bag.
Purchases
We record what you bought, the amount, and a reference from our payment processor. We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, who process it under their own privacy policy.
Reviews
Your name, rating and text are published if approved. Your email address is used only to check whether you actually bought a book, and is never published.
What we don't collect
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no cross-site profiling, no fingerprinting. We do not sell personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
Cookies
Only functional ones. A cookie remembers that you gave us an email so the form doesn't reappear; another identifies you as a customer so your library shows your purchases; another keeps an admin signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
Who else touches your data
- Stripe — payments. They receive your payment details directly; we do not.
- Resend — sends our email. They receive your address and the message.
- Railway — hosts the site and its storage.
That is the complete list. No data broker, ad network or analytics company.
How long we keep it
Orders and generated books are kept for as long as you have an account with us, so you can re-download what you paid for. Everything else goes when you ask.
Your choices
- Stop marketing email — the unsubscribe link in any of them. One click, no confirmation step. You'll still get receipts and download links for things you buy.
- See what we hold, or have it deleted — email robbiegerarden@gmail.com and we'll do it. If you're in California or the EU/UK you have a statutory right to this; we extend it to everyone because drawing a line by geography would be absurd.
- Correct something — edit your bag and notes on the site, or write to us.
Children
This is not built for children and we don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If that has happened, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this materially we'll update the date at the top and say so by email before it takes effect.
